Wildfire Partners

Wildfire Partners is Boulder County’s wildfire mitigation program to help residents prepare for, rather than react to, the next wildfire. As Art Director on the team, I've helped lead creative strategy and managed production on a multi-year public awareness campaign. Over three years, I've shaped and executed two different visual campaigns across: video & photoshoots, CTV ads, digital assets, local bus ads, a Hot Line experiential activation, yard signs, print flyers, and direct mail. We met residents where they were to remind them that preparing for wildfires is a community effort. Our campaigns have led to significant performance metrics for Wildfire Partners, including: 5x site traffic increase, boosted organic search growth by +51%, and garnered 15 million impressions.

Here’s something wild: the more you know what can cause home ignition, the more you can do something to help prevent it. This campaign meets county residents where they are and reminds them that preparing for wildfires is up to everyone, and the county is here to help with $500 rebates.​​​​​​​
The Hot Line
Hot tips about wildfire prep
As part of the year 1 campaign activation to make talking about wildfire preparedness in Boulder County more approachable, we installed four Hot Lines across Boulder County for 2 months. Picking up the rotary phone automatically prompted a wildfire fact or home preparedness tip delivered by Boulder County Commissioners. The activation was supported by PR and paid media.
