The naming and logo ideation during this process was aimed at evoking the promise of a lush, green-filled retreat. The key enticement for future tenants was the serene, nature-filled setting in the larger urban environment. Armed with this narrative, we created a visual word palette to pull name ideas from. The name 'Sagemark' was selected, which inspired the final logo mark, that of a vibrantly-colored sage leaf.
Next, the Sagemark brand was extended into the three-dimensional environment as a wayfinding program through the use of: materials, color palette, and clever integrations of the logo mark, as seen in the finial topper of the street signs.
